I have my own social media accounts where I can share my views and opinions,\u201d El-Rufai wrote.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI am going to disown the statements you created and attributed, not because I necessarily disagree with the message, but because I never made them. That is not the honest way to represent our party or gain traction. Please stop it forthwith.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>ADC Vanguard had, in a now-deleted post, quoted El-Rufai as criticising President Bola Tinubu\u2019s administration.<\/p>\n<p>The group claimed El-Rufai described Tinubu\u2019s government as \u201cNigeria\u2019s most corrupt, dishonest government\u201d that \u201cloots with arrogance and lies with confidence.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>It further alleged that \u201cevery sector, from the economy to security, has been tainted by fraud, kickbacks and favouritism.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Following El-Rufai\u2019s rebuttal, ADC Vanguard retracted the post and <a href=\"https:\/\/x.com\/ADCVanguard_\/status\/1958349314927063426?t=k7WCdKAO21PrltS7sk_lwg&amp;s=19\"><strong>apologised publicly.<\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u201cDear Mallam El-Rufai, we sincerely apologise for the inconvenience caused.
