Nigerians shouldn\u2019t be paying more for fuel at this time, amid low minimum wages and other oppressive economic factors.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Recall that PPPRA has announced an increase in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/news\/2021\/03\/12\/just-in-fg-raises-petrol-price-above-n200\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">fuel price<\/a>, fixing the lower band of the new fuel price at N209.61 per litre and upper band N212.61 per litre.<\/p>\n<p>PPPRA stated that the increment was due to the market determinants and importation costs.<\/p>\n<p>However, the NNPC countered the announcement, insisting that there is no increase in fuel price in March.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A former senator representing Bayelsa East in the National Assembly, Ben Murray-Bruce has reacted to the latest fuel increase announcement made by the Petroleum Products Pricing Regulatory Agency (PPPRA).
