No fewer than sixty-six (66) people have been killed in various villages in Kebbi state.<\/p>\n

Spokesperson of the state police command, DSP Nafiu Abubakar, confirmed the killing of the people adding that it took place in eight villages of Danko\/Wasagu Local Government Area.<\/p>\n

According to him, though, the police were still counting the number of the dead bodies, it had already dispatched a detachment of the officers and men of the police force to the area to restore calm.<\/p>\n

According to TheNation, the killing<\/a> took place in Koro, kimpi, Gaya, Dimi, Zutu, Rafin Gora and Iguenge villages \u2013 all in Danko\/Wasagu LG area of Kebbi State.<\/p>\n
