{"id":49355,"date":"2021-06-21T20:11:51","date_gmt":"2021-06-21T19:11:51","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/news\/?p=49355"},"modified":"2021-06-21T20:13:46","modified_gmt":"2021-06-21T19:13:46","slug":"my-appointments-and-policies-have-been-fair-and-inclusive-president-buhari","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/news\/2021\/06\/21\/my-appointments-and-policies-have-been-fair-and-inclusive-president-buhari\/","title":{"rendered":"My appointments and policies have been fair and inclusive &#8211; President Buhari"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Nigeria&#8217;s President, Muhammadu Buhari has stated that all his appointments and policies are premised on &#8220;equity and inclusiveness&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>This was stated by the president on Monday in Abuja at a conference organised for youths in the All Progressives Congress (APC).<\/p>\n<p>Recall that President Buhari has been accused of appointing people mainly from the north \u2014 an allegation he\u00a0has denied.<\/p>\n<p>Represented by Boss Mustapha, secretary to the government of the federation (SGF), the president said there is no part of the country that has not been \u201cimpacted positively in the areas of infrastructure, agriculture and economic support initiative based on peculiarities of the regions.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSo far, all the policies, initiatives, projects and even appointments by this administration have been guided by equity and inclusiveness,\u201d Buhari said.<\/p>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/news\/2021\/06\/19\/president-buhari-to-mtn-lower-cost-of-data\/\">president<\/a> said all those threatening the peace of the country would be dealt with.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAs you are all aware, we are currently dealing with some internal security challenges and I would like to reassure you that as the commander-in-chief of the armed forces, no effort will be spared in tackling them,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier, Ismaeel Ahmed, APC youth leader, said the conference was organised to \u201cenergise\u201d a progressive movement in the country.<\/p>\n<p>Ahmed said the APC should be made a party of mostly young people.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Nigeria&#8217;s President, Muhammadu Buhari has stated that all his appointments and policies are premised on &#8220;equity and inclusiveness&#8221;.
