Gunmen have kidnapped eight workers working with a ceramic company in the Ajaokuta local government Area of Kogi State.<\/p>\n

WITHIN NIGERIA gathered that the incident happened in the early hours of Wednesday in Emiworo.<\/p>\n

It was learnt that the workers were abducted while loading stones which is expected to be delivered to the ceramic site located in Itobe.<\/p>\n

The suspected criminals who were fully armed according to sources whisked away<\/a> their victims 8 in number to an unknown destination.<\/p>\n

The Police Public Relations Officer in Kogi State, DSP William Ovye Aya confirmed the incident on Wednesday evening.<\/p>\n

Aya, however, said six mining workers of West African Ceramic were kidnapped.<\/p>\n

According to him, the Police in collaboration with sister security agencies had combed the bushes to ensure that the abducted miners regained freedom from their abductors.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
