{"id":56563,"date":"2021-07-10T04:42:45","date_gmt":"2021-07-10T03:42:45","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/news\/?p=56563"},"modified":"2021-07-10T04:42:45","modified_gmt":"2021-07-10T03:42:45","slug":"finland-based-simon-ekpa-takes-over-from-nnamdi-kanu-at-radio-biafra","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/news\/2021\/07\/10\/finland-based-simon-ekpa-takes-over-from-nnamdi-kanu-at-radio-biafra\/","title":{"rendered":"Finland-based, Simon Ekpa takes over from Nnamdi Kanu at Radio Biafra"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Finland-based, Simon Ekpa, one of the arrowheads of the agitation for the state of Biafra in the Scandinavian country has been appointed to take over daily broadcast on Radio Biafra following the detention of the Supreme Leader of the Indigenous People Of Biafra (IPOB), Mazi Nnamdi Kanu.<\/p>\n<p>Ekpa disclosed this on his official Facebook page, noting it is honour to serve the Biafra nation and a call to serve lovers of freedom.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Our Leader, Mazi Nnamdi on this day, 8th of July 2021 directed that I, Simon Ekpa should start broadcasting from Radio Biafra with immediate effect.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;On this note, it is honour, and at the same time, a call to service, a call to serve Biafra nation, and a call to serve lovers of freedom.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;This task, I will do with everything in me to see that we maintain the momentum and the legacy of our leader, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/news\/2021\/07\/07\/nnamdi-kanu-ipob-reacts-to-police-claim-of-esn-planting-bombs-in-south-east\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">IPOB<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I will serve with everything in me and I will double my effort in media, diplomacy, and otherwise to the best interest of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/news\/2021\/07\/05\/nnamdi-kanu-biafra-group-reveals-why-it-wont-join-july-26-protest-at-high-court\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Biafra<\/a> people.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;I am just a servant and I will serve.
