Emmanuel Kanu, the brother of Supreme Leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, Mazi Nnamdi Kanu has revealed why his family will not appear in court.<\/p>\n

Emmanuel disclosed that until the family gets authentic information about how Kanu<\/a> was abducted they are not prepared to go to court.<\/p>\n

He further stated that he does not believe in a fair hearing for the IPOB leader as only those from \u2018Fulani Extraction\u2019 are given fair hearing in Nigeria.<\/p>\n

\u201cUntil there are calcifications concerning his extraordinary rendition, we (immediate family members) are not prepared to come to court. \u201d<\/p>\n

According to The Nation, he said they should be talking about releasing Kanu and not coming to court.<\/p>\n

\u201cYou do not expect to see us in court when it was clear that our son, father and brother was abducted.<\/p>\n

\u201cIn the history of this country, there\u2019s never been a time anybody was ever given a fair hearing except you are coming from the Fulani extraction. It\u2019s only the Fulanis<\/a> that get a fair hearing. It is as simple as that,\u201d Emmanuel said.<\/p>\n

Recall that Kanu’s lawyer, Barrister Aloy Ejimakor has insisted that there will be no trial for the IPOB<\/a> leader, stating that no trial would be held due to the manner in which Kanu was rearrested and repatriated to Nigeria.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
