{"id":63061,"date":"2021-07-27T15:20:31","date_gmt":"2021-07-27T14:20:31","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/news\/?p=63061"},"modified":"2021-07-27T15:20:31","modified_gmt":"2021-07-27T14:20:31","slug":"alleged-child-molestation-again-court-adjourns-baba-ijeshas-trial","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/news\/2021\/07\/27\/alleged-child-molestation-again-court-adjourns-baba-ijeshas-trial\/","title":{"rendered":"Alleged child molestation: Again, court adjourns Baba Ijesha\u2019s trial"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Lagos State Special Offences Court in Ikeja has adjourned the alleged child molestation case against embattled Nollywood actor, Olanrewaju Omiyinka, aka Baba Ijesha till August 11 and 12.<\/p>\n<p>Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo adjourned the matter after Princess was cross-examined by Baba Ijesha\u2019s defence counsel.<\/p>\n<p>Baba Ijesha, actress Iyabo Ojo and their supporters were in court as Princess explained how she set up the CCTV that reportedly recorded the act.<\/p>\n<p>She also stated the minor on two occasions was harrassed by a neighbour in December 2020.<\/p>\n<p>The Court sent journalists out again like it did on Monday before playing the video clip, which was said to have captured <a href=\"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/news\/2021\/06\/24\/breaking-court-grants-baba-ijesha-bail\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Baba Ijesha<\/a> while allegedly molesting a 14-year-old girl in the care of Princess.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Lagos State Special Offences Court in Ikeja has adjourned the alleged child molestation case against embattled Nollywood actor, Olanrewaju Omiyinka, aka Baba Ijesha till August 11 and 12.
