Controversial Onitsha-based clergyman, Odumeje has blasted Pastor Chris Okotie following his recent remark about Prophet TB Joshua.<\/p>\n
Recall that the founder of the Synagogue Church of All Nations (SCOAN), TB Joshua died on June 6 after battling a stroke.<\/p>\n
Reacting to the demise of the SCOAN senior prophet, senior pastor of the Household of God Church International Ministries, Okotie had described him as a deceptive magician in a recent video.<\/p>\n
Okotie had also claimed that\u00a0Joshua fulfilled a biblical pattern of \u201cBar-Jesus\u201d, a false prophet who equated himself with Jesus.<\/p>\n
Reacting to his claims in a\u00a0now-viral video, Odumeje described Okotie as a \u201cpossessed man who is suffering from insanity.\u201d<\/p>\n
The clergyman wondered why he had a problem with Joshua, who referred to himself as Emmanuel, arguing that Christians are allowed to call themselves such as followers of Christ.<\/p>\n
\u201cI respect TB Joshua because he was a general. He has finished his job and left the world. I want to correct a stupid person, a man that doesn\u2019t want the general to rest in peace and allow his family to mourn him. That man is Chris Okotie<\/a>,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n \u201cYoung man, we have respected you enough and I have never seen you do anything in this life. I have never seen you save any soul or perform a miracle like TB Joshua did yet you came out to say TB Joshua is a devil. You claim because he called himself Emmanuel, he\u2019s a devil.<\/p>\n \u201cIf he answered the name of Christ, is it wrong? We answer the name of our father but does that we mean we\u2019re Christ? When I look at you, I see that you\u2019re possessed.\u201d<\/p>\n The cleric said Okotie has no ground to tackle Joshua in the manner he did, adding that he \u201cneeds a dirty slap to correct your senses\u201d.<\/p>\n \u201cAnd listen to me, when you face the general, before you talk against him, you should establish if you\u2019re equal,\u201d he added.<\/p>\n \u201cWhen you cannot do what a man does, you have no right to talk about him because you\u2019re not in the same qualification or spiritual balance. You\u2019re too carnal for who TB Joshua was to open up your mouth.<\/p>\n \u201cWhen I see you saying you want to rule Nigeria, I see that you\u2019re suffering from insanity. You need a dirty slap to correct your senses.<\/p>\n \u201cListen, l don\u2019t reply people with stories, I do that with deadly spiritual weapon.
