It is then that he took tea that from the fire and poured it on me,\u201d Sharon narrated.<\/p>\n<p>In a video obtained by TheStandard, part of Sharon\u2019s left leg had sustained burn <a href=\"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/news\/2021\/04\/06\/15-year-old-girl-fights-for-life-after-sister-pours-hot-water-on-her-for-going-out\/\">wounds<\/a> allegedly from the incident and she is seen struggling to make a step.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI got burnt on my private parts and partly on the legs and thighs. I cannot even sit down normally,\u201d she said fighting back tears.<\/p>\n<p>David Yegon, one of Sharon\u2019s relatives said the couple had differences they had tried to resolve before but to no avail.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We have tried to solve this issues before as a family and I think it\u2019s time the government officials intervened in the matter,\u201d Yegon remarked.<\/p>\n<p>Reports indicate that Alfred Kigen, had received a \u2018hello\u2019 text message from a female suspected to be his mistress.<\/p>\n<p>Chemelet location Chief Evans Maritim confirmed the incident adding investigations into the incident would be conducted by police officers to establish what happened between the two.<\/p>\n<p>Sharon has been treated and is recuperating.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A 32-year-old man, Alfred Kigena, has allegedly caused gruesome harm to his wife after he poured boiling tea on his wife\u2019s private parts, thighs and legs for reading text message he received from a woman she suspects to be his lover.
