Governor Samuel Ortom of Benue State has condemned the killing of Olajide Sowore, the younger brother of Sahara Reporters\u2019 publisher, Omoyele Sowore by gunmen suspected to be bandits.<\/p>\n

WITHIN NIGERIA recalls that Olajide, a pharmacy student at Igbinedion University, was killed by unknown gunmen on Saturday<\/strong><\/a>.<\/p>\n

Reacting, Governor Ortom in a statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Terver Akase, said the gruesome murder of Olajide further depicts the worsening security situation across the country.<\/p>\n

The Governor expressed the hope that security agencies will apprehend those responsible for the murder of the young man.<\/p>\n

The Edo State Police Command<\/a> had during a press briefing on Sunday, said that they were combing forest to arrest the killers of the deceased.<\/p>\n
