Awo has informed the Federal High Court, Abuja that the case file containing the fundamental human rights enforcement application filed by associates to the embattled Yoruba activist, Sunday Adeyemo, alias Sunday Igboho, was stolen by armed robbers in Abuja.<\/p>\n<p>Barrister Awo told Justice Obiora Egwuatu on Wednesday that his\u00a0colleague, who was conveying the document to the court, boarded a vehicle belonging to some <a href=\"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/news\/2021\/08\/24\/zulum-not-all-surrendered-insurgents-are-criminals\/\">criminals<\/a> who carted away the file and other personal items.<\/p>\n<p>He therefore applied for adjournment of the hearing.<\/p>\n<p>Recall that the DSS had, during a midnight invasion of Igboho\u2019s Soka house in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital, arrested 12 of the activist\u2019s allies and detained them in Abuja.<\/p>\n<p>The detained aides had approached the court to seek their fundamental rights to freedom from the custody of the DSS.<\/p>\n<p>Egwuatu, during a sitting on August 4, 2021, granted bail to the 12 detainees.
