{"id":80401,"date":"2021-09-09T06:26:55","date_gmt":"2021-09-09T05:26:55","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/news\/?p=80401"},"modified":"2021-09-09T06:26:55","modified_gmt":"2021-09-09T05:26:55","slug":"my-husband-is-a-serial-womaniser-he-slept-with-my-younger-sister-and-my-friends-woman-tells-court","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/news\/2021\/09\/09\/my-husband-is-a-serial-womaniser-he-slept-with-my-younger-sister-and-my-friends-woman-tells-court\/","title":{"rendered":"My husband is a serial womaniser, he slept with my younger sister and my friends &#8211; Woman tells court"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A 57-year-old trader, Mrs Chima Udemi has accused her husband of sleeping with her younger sister and friends.<\/p>\n<p>She told an Igando Customary Court in Lagos on Wednesday that her husband, Tobechukwu, is an unrepentant adulterer who sleeps with anything on skirt.<\/p>\n<p>The woman disclosed this while responding to a suit filed by Tobechukwu, who had accused her of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/news\/2021\/09\/01\/jealous-lover-cuts-off-girlfriends-hand-over-alleged-infidelity-in-ebonyi\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">infidelity<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>She said \u201cTobechukwu is a serial womaniser, he sleeps with my younger sister and my friends.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe once abandoned me and our seven children and relocated to his mistress\u2019 house.<\/p>\n<p>\u201dHe is an irresponsible husband and father. I struggled, doing unpleasant jobs to feed my children.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe lives with me in the house I single-handedly built, eats my food, drinks my water and still frustrates my life.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIf my husband insists on divorcing me, he should be ready to move out of my house.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The mother of seven urged the court to grant her <a href=\"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/news\/2021\/09\/08\/my-husband-lasts-only-2-minutes-in-bed-divorce-seeking-housewife-tells-sharia-court\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">husband<\/a>\u2019s request for the dissolution of their marriage.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhen I die, he should not come for my burial. And I can assure you that when he dies, I will never attend his burial,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n<p>The petitioner, Tobechukwu, prayed the court to dissolve his 33-year-old <a href=\"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/news\/2021\/09\/08\/forced-marriage-19-year-old-woman-allegedly-stabs-husband-to-death\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">marriage<\/a> accusing wife of Infidelity.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMy wife is having an affair with a man from her village. She also abandoned me and the children for 10 years.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cShe deserted her matrimonial home to unknown destination for 10 years, she just returned in 2020,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>After listening to both parties, the President of the Court, Mr Adeniyi Koledoye, directed the estranged <a href=\"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/news\/2021\/08\/03\/delta-couple-arrested-for-allegedly-staging-daughters-kidnap-to-repay-bank-loan\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">couple<\/a> to maintain peace.<\/p>\n<p>Koledoye adjourned the case until Sept.21 for further hearing.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A 57-year-old trader, Mrs Chima Udemi has accused her husband of sleeping with her younger sister and friends.
