{"id":85940,"date":"2021-09-24T10:49:04","date_gmt":"2021-09-24T09:49:04","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/news\/?p=85940"},"modified":"2021-09-24T10:49:04","modified_gmt":"2021-09-24T09:49:04","slug":"fg-states-lgs-share-n697bn-for-august","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/news\/2021\/09\/24\/fg-states-lgs-share-n697bn-for-august\/","title":{"rendered":"FG, states, LGs share N697bn for August"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Federation Accounts Allocation Committee (FAAC) has shared N696.965billion as federation allocation for August 2021.<\/p>\n<p>Oshundun Olajide, Deputy Director (Information), Ministry of Finance, provided details of the communique on Thursday.<\/p>\n<p>The Federal Government received N289.257billion; states got N217.183billion; Local Governments received N161.541billion.<\/p>\n<p>The total amount shared was inclusive of Value Added Tax (VAT), Exchange Gain, Excess Bank Charges and revenue from Non-Oil.<\/p>\n<p>The oil-producing states received N41.376billion as derivation (13 per cent of Mineral Revenue).<\/p>\n<p>The Gross Revenue available from the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/news\/2021\/09\/23\/collection-of-vat-by-firs-remains-fg\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">VAT<\/a> for August was N166.228billion.<\/p>\n<p>In the distribution: the FG got N24.934billion; states received N83.114billion; LGs \u2013 N58.180billion.<\/p>\n<p>The sum of N50billion from Non-Oil revenue was also distributed accordingly: FG \u2013 N26.340billion; States \u2013 N13.360billion; LGs \u2013 N10.300billion.<\/p>\n<p>The Statutory Revenue of N477.504 billion was shared for the month. Federal Government \u2013 N236.437 billion; States N119.924billion, LGs \u2013 N92.4456billion.<\/p>\n<p>The communique revealed Companies Income Tax (CIT), Petroleum Profit Tax (PPT), Oil and Gas Royalties and Excise Duty recorded decreases; Import Duty and VAT increased significantly.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Federation Accounts Allocation Committee (FAAC) has shared N696.965billion as federation allocation for August 2021.
