The calls for the sack of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer as manager has made Manchester United legend, Peter Schmeichel, to react angrily.<\/p>\n

The Red Devils go into the international break having picked up just one point from their last two league games at Old Trafford.<\/p>\n

This follows a 1-1 draw with Everton and 1-0 defeat to Aston Villa.<\/p>\n

The results have further heaped more pressure on Solskjaer, who is yet to win silverware with United.<\/p>\n

Schmeichel has now hit out at supporters whose patience is wearing thin.<\/p>\n

The former goalkeeper said that calls for Solskjaer<\/a> to be sacked are \u201cridiculous\u201d and asked whether they want \u201canother van Gaal or Mourinho\u201d.<\/p>\n

\u201cI think it\u2019s ridiculous, absolutely ridiculous. Do they want another [Louis] Van Gaal or another [Jose] Mourinho? What do they want?<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s been tried, bringing in the so-called big-name managers and they don\u2019t have the same care and attention to detail in the youth and development and DNA of the club as Ole has.<\/p>\n

\u201cThat period before him [Solskjaer], a lot of players came in and a lot of coaches left, so everything needs to be rebuilt. I hope people understand that it takes time,\u201d Schmeichel told ITV Sport.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
