President of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), Amaju Pinnick has addressed the Super Eagles squad ahead of their second leg must win World Cup qualifying match against the Central African Republic.<\/p>\n
Recall that that CAR defeated the Super Eagles of Nigeria<\/a> courtesy of Substitute Karl Namnganda\u2019s 90th-minute goal at the Teslim Balogun Stadium in Lagos on Thursday, October 7.<\/p>\n That defeat put an end to Nigeria\u2019s perfect start to the World Cup qualifying campaign and the first loss at home in a World Cup qualifier in 40 years.<\/p>\n Addressing the Super Eagles<\/a> players in their camping hotel on Friday, October 7, a disappointed Pinnick reminded the players that football is the only thing uniting Nigeria at the moment, and that the players should understand the seriousness of the second leg fixture in Douala.<\/p>\n Pinnick revealed he and the NFF team haven’t slept since the loss to CAR, a team ranked 124 by FIFA, because of the disgraceful nature of the game.<\/p>\n After addressing the players, team captain Ahmed Musa<\/a> apologized on behalf of the players while saying they have all analyzed the match and will make amends.<\/p>\n Watch the video below:<\/p>\n
