{"id":95465,"date":"2021-10-19T10:02:12","date_gmt":"2021-10-19T09:02:12","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/news\/?p=95465"},"modified":"2021-10-19T10:02:12","modified_gmt":"2021-10-19T09:02:12","slug":"i-was-possessed-at-that-time-kenyan-man-says-after-being-arraigned-in-court-for-filming-woman-in-toilet","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/news\/2021\/10\/19\/i-was-possessed-at-that-time-kenyan-man-says-after-being-arraigned-in-court-for-filming-woman-in-toilet\/","title":{"rendered":"I Was Possessed at That Time &#8211; Kenyan Man Says After Being Arraigned in Court for Filming Woman in Toilet"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>A man identified as Mark Mutongoi has been accused of filming a woman in a bathroom at a gas station in Westlands, Nairobi.<\/p>\n<p>The suspect is accused of filming Margret Wangari without her permission on October 7 at the Rubis gas station in Westlands, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/news\/2021\/03\/24\/activist-narrates-how-he-was-detained-and-beaten-up-for-filming-police-brutality-in-lagos\/\">Nairobi<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Court prosecutor Robert Ogallo told the court;<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAfter she was done she heard some movement behind the washroom.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The complainant was startled by the suspect&#8217;s movement, according to the court, and she realized that the accused had strategically positioned his phone on the washroom&#8217;s window and was filming her.<\/p>\n<p>The complainant eventually informed other ladies in the vicinity, which resulted in the suspect&#8217;s arrest.<\/p>\n<p>Appearing before senior principal magistrate Charles Mwaniki at Kibera Law Courts, the suspect pleaded guilty and told the court that he committed the offence to please his eyes.
