{"id":9899,"date":"2021-03-17T22:51:04","date_gmt":"2021-03-17T21:51:04","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/news\/?p=9899"},"modified":"2021-03-17T22:51:04","modified_gmt":"2021-03-17T21:51:04","slug":"fuel-hike-dpr-seals-11-filling-stations-in-abuja","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/news\/2021\/03\/17\/fuel-hike-dpr-seals-11-filling-stations-in-abuja\/","title":{"rendered":"Fuel hike: DPR seals 11 filling stations in Abuja"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Department of Petroleum Resources (DPR) has sealed 11 filling stations in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) for under-dispensing and over pricing of petrol.<\/p>\n<p>The Zonal Operations Controller, DPR, Abuja, Mr. Abubakar Buba, made this known to newsmen in Abuja on Wednesday.<\/p>\n<p>Mr Abubakar Buba said they will be intensifying surveillance and will come after any station that is found wanting in any of operations infractions.<\/p>\n<p>Buba who added that they never encountered any hoarding issue, urged <a href=\"https:\/\/www.withinnigeria.com\/news\/2021\/03\/16\/dpr-seals-five-filling-stations-for-overpricing-in-ilorin\/\">filling stations<\/a> to ensure that manholes were properly covered after every stocktaking to avoid water ingress.<\/p>\n<p>He said;<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe sanctioned about eight stations yesterday and three others today because of over pricing and under dispensing of products.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSo far so good, there are no queues, we did not find any station hoarding but we discovered few infractions which we have noted down and they are going to pay the appropriate fine.&#8221;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Department of Petroleum Resources (DPR) has sealed 11 filling stations in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) for under-dispensing and over pricing of petrol.
