Lawmaker representing Okitipupa/ Irele Federal Constituency at the House of Representatives, Ikengboju Gboluga, has inaugurated a multi-million naira ultra-modern community hall in Irele Local Government Area of Ondo State.
Gboluga, while speaking during the inauguration of the 300 capacity community hall on Saturday in Irele, said that the gesture was to give back to his constituents who had voted him to represent them at the lower chamber.
He said that the people should expect more developmental projects from him in no distant time, as it is mandatory for them to enjoy more dividends of democracy.
“The inauguration of this community hall is not politically motivated or because of my second term ambition but rather, it is in fulfilment of my electioneering promises to my people.
“In just two and half years, we have empowered many constituents, built classrooms, trained people on ICT, donated several blocks to schools and other laudable projects.
“There are still more projects that will be rolled out soon for my constituents to enjoy the dividends of democracy, I am indeed delighted to serve my people and urge them for more support ,” Gboluga said.
Meanwhile, a former Senator representing Ondo South Senatorial District, Yele Omogunwa, also commended Gboluga for the feat recorded, saying it was worthy of emulation.
“I commend Gboluga for the feat recorded, it’s indeed worthy of emulation and I urge constituents to continue to give him maximum support for him to do well,” Omogunwa said.
The inauguration was attended by traditional rulers, PDP chieftains and residents.
