I visited Late IGP Coomassie on sickbed despite ordering my arrest, detention in Kiri Kiri Prison in 1995 – Shehu Sani

In a post on his Facebook, Senator Shehu Sani said he visited the late Ex-Inspector General of Police, Ibrahim Coomassie on his sick bed recently before his demise

“Dr Ibrahim Coomasie ordered for my arrest and signed my detention order in Kiri Kiri Prison, Lagos in 1995 and when I was released from Prison, he reached out to me and we became ‘friends.

“I related with him as my father. I visited him at home a couple of times and visited him while on his sick bed few weeks ago.”
