Actress, Kemi Afolabi set to premiere her new movie “Modorisa” in the US

Yoruba actress Kemi Afolabi is set to premiere her new epic work Mo’dorisa on Friday, July 27. The movie which paraded an all cast female according to the producer will be a thriller for her fans.

Sharing the information on her IG page, the actress wrote,

D.M.V are you READY???? Finally, Mod’orisa The Epic the “ALL FEMALE” cast movie will be showing in MD. MOD’ORISA a blast from the past, an in depth reflection of our culture….I want to say all sorts about the movie but the taste of the pudding is in the eating. Mo’dorisa tells the story of Dayese village which never remained the same after a whirlwind swept away all male residents (both young and old) leaving the women with no choice but to take the bull by the horn.

“The Epic movie showcases the impact, strength, importance and problem solving skills of women without the male gender,” said Afolabi.

“The storyline passes across strong cultural views and tradition, richly inclined, unique, interesting, educative and full of suspense. It will keep you at the edge of your seats.”

The cast of the movie include Binta Ayomogaji, Faithia Williams, Madam Saje Bimbo Oshin, Peju Omobolanle, Ronke Oshodi Oke, Ayo Adesanya, Sola Kosoko, Foluke Daramola, Sindodo Tayo and Funke Etti among others.
