5 Signs It’s Time To Quit That Relationship

Until we begin to understand that not every relationship has a future, we would continue to remain in unhealthy relationships instead of moving on. How do you really know when it’s time to break up and move on?

Below are 5 signs it’s time to quit that relationship

1. LACK OF TRUST

There is no point being in a relationship that lacks trust because trust is very important in every relationship. Your relationship would never move forward if you don’t trust your partner. If your partner doesn’t give you reasons to trust him or her, then it’s time to quit that relationship and move on.

2. YOUR PARTNER CHEATS

Most people who cheat would always cheat again so why give your partner another opportunity to cheat on you. Cheating isn’t a one-time thing, it’s habitual. Never tell yourself you can stop your partner from cheating because nothing you do can stop your partner from cheating. The only person that can make that decision to stop cheating is your partner.

3. YOUR PARTNER DOESN’T SUPPORT YOUR GOALS

Your partner ought to support your goals because that is the essence of being a relationship. In a relationship, we are supposed to support each other and if your partner doesn’t support your goals in life, then you are in a wrong relationship and it’s probably time you quit that relationship.

4. SOMETHING ABOUT THE RELATIONSHIP DOESN’T FEEL RIGHT

If something about your relationship doesn’t feel right to you, that’s another sign that you might have to quit that relationship. When you are in the right relationship, your inner self would be at peace in that relationship but when you just don’t feel comfortable about the relationship, it’s time you probably move on.

5. YOUR PARTNER DOESN’T SHARE THE SAME RELATIONSHIP GOALS AS YOU

When your partner has different relationship goals from you, then it’s a sign that relationship has no future and it’s probably time to move on. If you desire to start a family and your partner doesn’t want a family, there really is no point being in that relationship. You really don’t have to force what you want in the relationship on your partner.
