Presidency denies report of extending his UK Vacation

The presidency has denied media reports claiming president Buhari wrote to the senate asking to extend his 10-day vacation in the UK.

This evening, Daily Independent reported that President Buhari sent a letter to the National Aseembly indicating his interest to extend his 10-day vacation which started on August 3rd

Reacting to the report, the Personal Assistant to the President on New Media, Bashir Ahmad, in a chat with LIB, said the report is untrue and completely false. He said he is in touch with his senior colleague, Femi Adesina, over the report and that an official statement will be released soon.
