18-Year-Old Nigerian Player, Marvin Olawale Unveiled By Real Madrid.

La Liga giants Real Madrid have unveiled 18-year-old Nigerian midfielder Marvin Olawale with the player joining the reserve team – Real Madrid Castilla.

Olawale was born in Spanish city of Mallorca to a Nigerian father and a Korean mother. Consequently, he is eligible to play for Nigeria and will don the country’s colours provided he makes the choice to represent his fatherland.

In statement released on the Los Blancos’ website on Olawale’s unveiling, the teenage sensation was described as an offensive midfielder with an eye for goal.

“An attacking-minded midfielder who is a danger when he joins the attack; his ability in one-on-one situations also makes him a threat.

“He took his first steps in the game in his native Balearic Islands and possesses a very direct style, which fully exploits his pace and power. He also has fine ability with both feet.”

The midfielder was on the books of various clubs including Sporting Ciudad de Palma, Tranmere Rovers, Sporting Ciudad de Palma, La Salle and Es Jonquet Penya Arrabal before he joined Real Madrid.
