Nigerian celebs dress their kids up in honour of Independence celebration

With each Independence Day celebration comes a different style of celebration. From dressing up in the nation’s flag colours to throwing green and white themed parties, the list never seems to end both in homes and at schools.

As part of the celebration, most schools get their students to dress up in native attires in order to celebrate unity of the various tribes in the country. Well, Nigerian celebrities have taken to social media to show off their kids dressed in native attires in honour of Nigeria’s 58th independence anniversary.

Davido’s first daughter, Imade was also not left out of the celebration. Imade was spotted wearing a nice pink iro and buba which she paired with a pink headgear also known as ‘gele’. She accessorize her cute outfit with traditional beads and a leopard print schoolbag.

It is refreshing to see celebrities getting involved in the life of their children despite their busy schedules especially after the controversy surrounding music superstar Wizkid’s relationship with his 2 older sons blew up on the internet.
