When it comes to the Nigerian entertainment industry, no individual can claim to reign forever. In the words of popular singer, 9ice, in his song – Street Credibility – when it comes to fame, it is a matter of turn by turn.

1. Peruzzi

Signed to Davido’s DMW record label, Peruzzi has since become a known name in the entertainment industry, thanks to Tuface, who featured him on his song, ‘Amaka’.

Although he may be new on the scene, the young man appears to be a new favourite for musicians looking for talents to feature in their songs and he never fails to impress. Recently, he was featured on the Duncan Mighty’s hit song, ‘Aza’, which also featured his boss, Davido. Just a few days ago, his boss also released a song, ‘Twisted’, in which he was also featured.

He was also featured in Ice Prince’s hit song, ‘Yawa’. It seems he is the new ‘prince of collabo’.  Recently, Davido announced a collaborative project between the young lad and himself. Apart from the songs in which he has been featured, Peruzzi also has some good songs like – ‘For your pocket’ and ‘Mata’.

2. Victor AD

Born, Victor Adere, he goes by the pseudonym, Victor AD. The Nigerian singer and songwriter was born and raised in Lagos, although he is from Delta State. The graduate of Auchi Polytechnic, Edo State, began his music career professionally in 2014 with the release of the song, ‘Jowo’, and came to limelight after being featured on Erigga’s song, ‘Motivation’.

Subsequently, he released his own single, ‘Wetin We Gain’, which has since become a hit and a street anthem. The song has garnered him some accolades. It was gathered that the singer started doing music at age six with inspiration from the likes of Bob Marley, Sunny Ade, Michael Jackson and Lucky Dube.

She may be following in the footsteps of her sister, Niniola, but at the pace the talented singer, Teniola, is going, she might soon outshine her sister who hit the limelight before her.

And ever since the Internet discovered her talent, she has continued to grow from strength to strength. Her songs: ‘Wait’, ‘Askamaya’, and ‘Case’, which is the most recent, have been regular features on top charts across the country.

4. Zlatan Ibile

It takes a lot to have a street song and a club banger but Zlatan achieved this effortlessly with his hit song, ‘Able God’. With the right mix, Zlatan Ibile teamed up with Lil Kesh and Chinco Ekun to deliver the song, which seems to be on the playlists of many top disc jockeys in the country.

The song is also among the top ten songs on the Nigerian iTunes and other charts. Apart from his recent project, ‘Able God’, the young chap teamed up with Oritse Femi to deliver the hit song, Omoge, and he also sang ‘Legwork’, which is loved by many people.

Signed to Wizkid’s Starboy record label, Terri has shown that he is a force to reckon with in the Nigerian music industry, especially with his hit song, ‘Bia’. In the song, he showed the public the reason why one of Africa’s hottest artistes, Wizkid, signed him. Shortly after the song’s video was released, it found its way to various top charts across the country, making more people to begin to take notice of Terri.
