Nigerian Lady, Adepeju Jaiyeoba Wins €50,000 Prince Of Wales Young Sustainability Entrepreneur Award

Jaiyeoba, who runs a social enterprise that supplies birthing kits to health centres was handed the award at a ceremony in London on Tuesday.

As the HRH Prince of Wales Young Sustainability Entrepreneur Prize winner, Adepeju will receive a €50,000 cash award and the remaining seven winners will each receive a €8,500 cash award, reveals University of Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership on its website.

All winners benefit from tailored one-to-one mentoring sessions for 12 months provided by experts from Unilever and University of Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership.

Adepeju Jaiyeoba was chosen from eight winning entrepreneurs as the recipient of this year’s HRH The Prince of Wales Young Sustainability Entrepreneur Prize.

According to Clarence UK’s Prince Charles official Twitter handle, @clarencehouse, over 2000 persons sent in applications to the Unilever Young Entrepreneurs Awards, supported by the University of Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership
