A young woman based in Port Alfred, Eastern Cape, took to Twitter recently to celebrate her special-needs brother’s 27th birthday.
Lebogang Mokwena wrote: “My brother was a special needs child & still is a special needs adult (highly self independent for his condition).
Doctors told my parents he wouldn’t make it past his 10th birthday because he was in & out of hospital. Today we’re celebrating his 27th birthday.”
