The love of a mother is one of the purest forms of affection. For this reason, children often find ways to appreciate them at any given opportunity.
Celebrities are also not left out seeing as several of them have taken to social media to flaunt their mothers.
Recently popular action movie star, Dwayne Johnson, also known as The Rock, made sure to give his mother a wonderful Christmas present.
He took to his Instagram page to share a video of his mum when she discovered that he had bought her a new house in any location of her choice for Christmas.
The elderly woman was quite touched by the gesture and she could not hide her excitement. Dwayne also explained in his caption how his family had a rough time when he was a kid. He further explained that having a good mother is very instrumental in how a person turns out to be.

He wrote: “This one felt good.
Surprise! Bought my mom a new home for Christmas.
All our lives growing up we lived in little apartments all across the country. Lived like gypsies on the road from one state to another.
The first home my parents ever lived in was the one I bought for them in 1999.
They divorced about 5yrs later and as with life, stuff happens and things got a little complicated.
Since then I always made sure my mom and dad have everything they’ll ever need – houses, cars etc.
But the house this time is a special one and the timing is very meaningful.
I told her to treat this card like it’s “Willy Wonka’s Golden Ticket” because she gets to choose any home she wants – anywhere she wants.
I always say, if you got a good mama, then you gotta pretty good shot at becoming a decent human being.
And somehow, somewhere along the line I became one lucky SOB to be able to make stuff like this happen.

Meanwhile, we earlier reported that a Nigerian man recently took to social media to show off the new car he bought for his mother on her birthday.
The young man identified as King Daniels took to Facebook to share the photos of the car he bought his mother. It was completely obvious that the woman, who must have been proud of her son, was excited about her gift. In all the photos, she kept on smiling.
