Mr Bean to take a year off from acting

Rowan Atkinson, Isla

Rowan Atkinson, popularly known as Mr Bean is going to take time off from acting to look after his daughter.

Mr Bean is going to become a stay-at-home dad after welcoming his daughter Isla in December 2017 with his partner Louise Ford, 35.

He reportedly told pals that he is ‘going to take care of Baby Bean while Louise has the chance to concentrate on acting’. Louise previously starred in Phoebe Waller-Bridge’s comedy Crashing, as well as Channel 4 mockumentary The Windsors, in which she stars as Kate, Duchess of Cambridge.

Mr Bean

As a reaction to Mr Bean’s stance, a source close to the legendary actor said;

“Rowan has a habit of surprising people – and he has done it again with this announcement.

He has said he will take a back seat from work to be with Isla, and this will obviously allow Louise to focus on her career which is going well.”

Rowan, 64 and Louise have been dating since 2014 after meeting on West End production Quartermaine’s Terms in 2012.

Atkinson fathers a 23–year–old son and a 21–year–old daughter with his former wife, Sunetra Sastry already. He divorced her 5 years ago due to “irreconcilable differences.”
