VIDEO: D’ija pay tribute to Bob Marley in new video ‘Mr Bob’

February 6, is an important day for music lovers, seeing as it is the day iconic and legendary reggae singer, Bob Marley, was born.
Bob Marley passed away about 38 years ago at the young age of 36 to a cancer related sickness. However, his demise has not diminished the love people have for him.
On what would have been his 74th birthday, several of Bob Marley’s fans took to social media to eulogise him, but Nigerian musician and Mavin signee, Dija, took her well-wishes a notch higher.
The pretty singer dropped a new song and music video on the reggae icon’s birthday to celebrate him. The song which is titled Mr Bob had Dija using the titles of some of Bob Marley’s evergreen songs to tell a story. The music video was also set in a Bob Marley themed bar that had quotes from the late singer written on the wall. One of the quotes that stood out was: “When music hits you, you feel no pain.” The song itself had reggae and dancehall vibe and the video vixens were also appropriately dressed in yellow, green and red outfits.
