Emotional moment lady burst into tears to have a glimpse of President Buhari

It is not every day that citizens gets to see their president face to face and when they do, most of them try to touch and feel their country’s head. Such is the case of an unnamed young lady in Taraba state.

As the 2019 presidential election draws near, all candidates have been busy travelling the length and breadth of Nigeria to tell the populace why they should be the chosen candidate.

The incumbent president, Muhammadu Buhari, who is seeking a second term in office has busied himself traversing Nigeria, at times, visiting two states per day. His campaign has always been greeted by mammoth crowd.

In line with his state by state campaign, President Buhari visited Taraba state on Friday, February 8. At the venue of his campaign, a lady who was present their burst into tears on sighting the president.

From the photo shared by Garba Shehu, the senior special assistant on media and publicity to President Buhari, on Twitter, the lady was stopped from getting to the president by police officers.

Shehu captioned the photo: 

“#PMBInTaraba: A young lady cries to have a glimpse of President Buhari as he attends Campaign Rally in Taraba State.”

What an emotion!

Meanwhile, President Buhari is expected in Lagos on Saturday, February 9, in continuation of his campaign. It was earlier reported that a high number of security operatives have been deployed to strategic positions at the Murtala Muhammed Airport, Lagos, ahead of the visit of President Muhammadu Buhari to the state.

Security operatives were said to have been at their respective positions as at 6.30am. They included officers of the Nigeria Police Force, Nigerian Air Force, Nigeria Customs Service, Nigeria Immigration Service and Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps.
