Son of Oba of Lagos, Kayode Moshood Akiolu wins Lagos Federal Constituency election

Kayode Moshood Akiolu, the son of Oba of Lagos, Oba Rilwan Akiolu, has emerged the winner of Lagos Island Federal Constituency II in the House of Representatives. Kayode Akiolu scored 12,988 votes to defeat the candidate of the PDP, Adamoh Olagbenga, who scored 4,345 votes.

The Returning Officer, Prof Solomon Akinboye, said, “The candidate of the APC, Akiolu Moshood Kayode, having scored the highest valid votes, is hereby declared the winner and is returned elected.” Kayode Akiolu now joins the likes of NairaBet CEO, Akin Alabi and Quilox Nightclub owner, Shina Peller as new entrants into the National Assembly.
