A whole family including 3 kids burnt to death in Kano

A sustainable development advocate, his wife and their three children were burnt to death in a house fire which broke out last night.

Isaiah Terungwa Jonathan had looked forward to a great month and took to Facebook hours before his death to write: “Let whoever think whatever. I stay winning in this month of March.”

He also wrote:

The battles you face in life are designed to develop confidence in you.

Whatever you may be up against, be assured, when you look back and take note of all you overcame, you will certainly be the more confident to face the next battle……

Stay strong in the battle!

Sadly, while at home with his wife and kids, a fire broke out and consumed them all.

Friends and colleagues have mourned him on Facebook with emotional tributes.

A close friend to the wife has narrated what happened and how the Husband after an initial escape,  refused to leave the building because his family were still trapped.

According to the close friend, Saidu Yahu, he was with the wife laughing together few hours before the tragic incident.

Narrating the tragic fire accident, Saidu wrote;

Its fire incident around 2:am last night it razed down everything in the house, people were struggling to rescue them but no way, they live in upstairs building apartment and people that got there while the wife was shouting for help the room was lock from inside and the burglar make it impossible for the fire extinguisher to reach them.

The husband narrowly escaped in a corner of the building while people from downstairs are asking him to jump down but he refused, he was saying his wife and the kids are inside. He went inside to help them out but death could not allow ?
