Pep Guardiola Responds To Reports He Has Agreed To Coach Juventus

According to the journalist who revealed Cristiano Ronaldo was going to join the Serie A champions last summer, Guardiola has verbally agreed to sign a four-year deal.

Il Giornale reporter Luigi Guelpa told Radio CRC: “I’ve learned that Pep Guardiola already has reached a verbal agreement with Juventus for the next four years. It’s the same person who told me that Ronaldo was going to Juventus.”

That would bring an end to his reign at the Etihad – but according to the Evening Standard , the Spaniard has no plans to quit.

Guardiola is currently on course to win an unprecedented quadruple with City having already won the Carabao Cup while in contention to win the Premier League, FA Cup and Champions League.

Sources close to Pep Guardiola have vehemently denied claims he is set to take over at Juventus.

At a time when the Premier League champions are being investigated by Fifa, Uefa and the Premier League over allegations they breached Financial Fair Play regulations, Guardiola’s own future has come into question.

City could face Champions League disqualification and a transfer ban if found guilty.

But sources close to Guardiola insist there is no truth to claims he is looking for an exit route.
