Nigerian singer Bad Boy Jp accuses Wizkid and Teni of song/beat theft

Earlier this week, fans and lovers of Nigerian superstar Wizkid had called out the singer for not making a comeback to the music as promised.

We have earlier reported that a number of people from the singer’s fan base had taken to social media to express their anxiety over the prolonged silence from the talented act. Many had reminded him of his promise to return with a hit song in March, adding that the month was almost over, and he was yet to make true of his promise.

It appeared that even though the star act had been quiet on social media, he was observing everything that was going on.

Wizkid shocked his fans by making an appearance on his Instagram page in a live video session in which he played an unreleased track with much loved singer, Teniola.

Thousands of fans that joined him in the live session could not get enough of their star act as many praised his creative genius and expressed their anticipation for the yet to be released music joint.

In a twist of events, a singer identified as Bad Boy Jp, has now taken to social media to claim ownership of the song which was played by Wizkid in his live video session.

Jp shared a long post on his page in which he called on the public to come to his rescue. He claimed Wizkid and Teni are about to reap him off by releasing a song in which he had painstakingly composed alongside his former music producer, @norhboitheoracle.

According to the singer, the song had been one of many that had been produced by his former producer. He said the beat maker had compromised their agreements by sending the beat and his vocals to Wizkid, who had taken an interest in the song and had been inspired to collaborate with Teni on the music joint.

He concluded his post by asking Nigerians to stop Wizkid and Teniola from releasing the song. The young artiste also shared a music video on his Instagram which sounded similar to what was playing on Wizkid’s live video.
