It was gathered that the father met the son on the ground in an unconscious state, after receiving a phone call from the mother that Najeeb was found unresponsive inside his house at Gadon Kaya, Kano State.
After rushing him to the hospital, it was confirmed that the boy died through strangulation as some bruises were discovered around his neck.
The rope which was used to strangle the boy was also found at one of the doors in the house.
The deceased was buried on Friday, March 29th, according to Islamic rites. May his soul rest in peace.
