Ashidapo

Nigerian upcoming artistes, Ashidapo has revealed a funny incident that happened to him when he went to perform at the New Afrika Shrine owned by the late Afrobeat legend, Fela Anikulapo-kuti.

According to Ashidapo, he waited five hours to perform at the show hosted by singer Sean Tizzle only for him to be met with some kind of embarrassment.

He shared:

“Hi everyone,
Happy Easter Sunday, though the early hours of my own Sunday was somewhat embarrassing, unfulfilling, and indeed funny, here’s the gist guys ?;

Ashidapo

I’ve always wanted to perform on stage at “The New Afrika Shrine” , I’m not sure why but it’s been on my bucket list for a while now, Well, Anything “Fela” affiliated in the first place forever remains a big deal to me, yen yen yen, (fast forward the long talk so Nigerians can read and go back to their Easter rice and chicken)

It was Sean Tizzle’s event last night, I was there to do my thing, all dripped like this, See human shild!! Chai! Waited about 5 hours before the MC called on my performance, Not complaining! This is where it gets funny ?, I got on stage

Finally! Normal artiste ting na after the usual “Arararara”, The crowd replies “Ororororo”, Then I said DJ drop it like it’s hot, NOTHING DROP O ?, i then did a little freestyle to buy him some time, “Let’s go DJ” I said again, WE STILL DIDN’T GO O, The DJ didn’t have my song ?‍♂️.

After 5 hours and he kept telling my manager everything was set, well I sang like that and the crowd cheered ?. That was my first experience on a stage I’ve always wanted to jump like frog ? ?‍♂️, Tell me “sorry” ?
