What Naira Marley’s Arrest By EFCC Means — Ruggedman Elaborates

Veteran rapper Ruggedman has reacted to Naira Marley’s arrest by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC.

The upcoming musician, Naira Marley was yesterday, May 10, which was his birthday, picked up by men of the EFCC for grilling, concerning his recent justification of internet fraud on social media.

Although Naira Marley was allegedly released after a few hours. Before his arrest, he went on to call out and insult Ruggedman for cautioning him about his comments on why Nigerians need to pray for online fraudsters, also known as ‘Yahoo Boys’.

Speaking on Marley’s arrest during his appearance on City FM, Ruggedman made it known that he was in a way happy he was arrested for questioning, meaning the anti-graft agency has passed a message to the populace that they are watching and monitoring fraud and other related discussions online.

The rapper went on to advise celebrities not to allow social media users push them into misbehaving for what happens in reality is totally different from what goes down online.

Ruggedman also aired his disappointment for Marley’s ‘Yahoo Yahoo’ comment supporters, he said he expected them to storm the EFCC office in Lagos to forcefully secure his release, but they failed him.
