Barely three months after Actor turned Politician, Desmond Elliot was mocked for commissioning a public toilet in Surulere, Lagos State, the Cross Rivers state government yesterday May 21st has commissioned a street light with pomp and pagentry.
A red carpet was rolled out for dignitaries at the commissioning ceremony that was reportedly attended by the state deputy governor, Elder Ivara Esu.
In the now viral photos of the commissioning, few people can be seen standing around the decorated traffic light as they carry out the ribbon-cutting ceremony.
