Officials of the Anambra State Police Command have rescued one Emmanuel Loco abducted in Ogidi, Idemili North Local Government area of the state.
A statement issued by Police Public Relations Officer, Haruna Mohammed, said the victim was kidnapped by two men on military uniforms and face cap within Ogidi around Bucky Poly Abatete road of the town, adding that the suspects, on sighting the Police, abandoned the victim inside the bush and absconded.
The PPRO assured that the case was under investigation while efforts were on to apprehend the fleeing accomplices.
