Man arrested for stabbing an apprentice to death with a broken bottle in Lagos over 500 Naira

Operatives of Lagos State Police Command have arrested a Nigerian man identified as Kazeem Mustapha for allegedly killing an apprentice over five hundred Naira in Lagos.

WITHIN NIGERIA learnt that the apprentice identified as Afeez Oluwole was stabbed on the right chest with a broken bottle by one Kazeem Mustapha along Madoti Estate Fin-Niger, Satellite town.

It was learnt that the tragic incident occured as a result of minor misunderstanding over 500 Naira.

Afeez was rushed to Holy Family Hospital where he later died. His corpse was deposited at the mortuary for postmortem examination.

Kazeem Mustapha was arrested for the murder of the deceased on Tuesday, February 25 after Afeez’s boss, Rafiy Dauda, of No 36 Alebiosu Street Ijegun, Satellite town, reported the incident at Elemoro Police station.

Reacting to the sad incident, the Police Public Relations in the state, Bala Elkana disclosed that the suspect will be charged to court soon.
