A secondary school teacher explains how the school he worked for sacked him for not accepting to engage in exam malpractice.

Maths and English teacher, AbdulAziz Ibn Adams took to his social media page to explain how he got sacked on Friday for refusing to engage in exam malpractice in the school.

According to him, the principal of the school laid him off the job where he received N32,000 as salary because he refused to help the students in their NECO exam.

He wrote;

I lost my teaching job today(32k) where I teach (Maths & F/Maths), because I refused to assist the students in the exam hall (during Neco) having taught them very well.
PS: This happened 2weeks ago.
I can do any legitimate job.
I just need a job asap, please kindly RT

The principal called me last night, begging me to return that it was a decision made in the subconscious mind. Apparently someone notified them about the twitter thread, I told him I’ve forgiven them, but it’s a start of something great. I thanked him for my time there & he wish

me well… I’m overwhelmed with love shown to me coupled with the fact that I now know there are a lot of good people in this country despite the despicable nature of the country. Thanks y’all for the support and assistance… I’m very grateful
