Abike Dabiri, Tayo Faniran

The chairman of the Nigerians in the Diaspora Commission, Abike Dabiri has said the South African Police is being sued over the assault on a Nigerian resident in the country.

A Nigerian man named Tayo Faniran suffered brutality at the hands of the police in South Africa. According to an Instagram live video shared online, this guy who is a former contestant of Big Brother Africa was arrested after he refused to enter an unmarked police vehicle.

Now, she has come out to give an update on the case. She said that the police in South Africa is being sued and a case is being pressed against them for their brutality.

Some Nigerians have commended Abike Dabiri for actively taking up this case and playing a part in changing the way Nigerian people are being treated in other countries.
