BREAKING: Osun Tribunal sacks PDP lawmaker, orders rerun in 12 polling units

The Election Petition Tribunal sitting in Osogbo, on Monday , has nullified the election of Mr. Bamidele Salam who represents Ede/Egbedore/Ejibo Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party.

The tribunal cancelled election results in 12 polling units across the four local governments as a result of over-voting and ordered a rerun in the 12 polling units.

It was reliably gathered that rerun shall hold in Six (6) polling units; three polling units each in Ede North and South governments respectively, two polling units in Ejigbo local government and the other two polling units in Egbedore local government.

Likewise, the Election Petition Tribunal sitting in Osogbo has ordered rerun in four(4) polling units in Obokun state constituency and Ede state constituency.
