Pastor Jarrid Wilson a California church leader, author, and mental health advocate, died by suicide Monday evening at age 30.
Jarrid Wilson before he died had shared on his social media page that loving Jesus doesn’t always cure suicidal thoughts, depression, PTSD, anxiety but that does not mean Jesus doesn’t off companionship and comfort.
He tweeted;
Loving Jesus doesn’t always cure suicidal thoughts. Loving Jesus doesn’t always cure depression. Loving Jesus doesn’t always cure PTSD. Loving Jesus doesn’t always cure anxiety. But that doesn’t mean Jesus doesn’t offer us companionship and comfort. He ALWAYS does that.
