Scientists give reasons why human flesh should be eaten

According to reports trending online, a Swedish scientist who is identified as Magnus Soderlund , has advocated the eating of human flesh to combat global climate change.

He made the statement last week while speaking at Stockholm summit.

He further explained that he believes that the consumption of the human meat, gotten from dead bodies, may be able to help save the human race if only the world society were to “awaken the idea.”

His argument for human cannibalism, was stated during a panel talk called “Can You Imagine Eating Human Flesh?” at the Gastro Summit, reports the Epoch Times.

The scientist explained that “Conservative” taboos against cannibalism, is capable of changing over time if people attempted the consumption of human flesh.

Some talking points at the seminar were, whether humans were too selfish to “live sustainably” ?and if cannibalism was the solution to food sustainability in the future.”

However, when asked if he would personally try eating human flesh, Soderlund revealed he was open to the idea.

He further suggested more options which include eating pets and insects. Before human flesh meat, becomes the next cuisine trend, however, history has shown that there are potential and dangerous health risks associated with cannibalism.

A historical account stated that a tribe in Papua New Guinea once practised eating the flesh of the dead as the nearest alternative of them being consumed by worms.

However, the practice had led to a disease called Kuru. The disease is also known as laughing death, New York Post reports. According to the US National Library of Medicine, the disease is also caused by an infectious protein which is found in contaminated human brain tissue.

However, in 1960, the practice of cannibalism among the people of New Guinea came to an end.
