Super eagles’ hope dashed as Tammy Abraham, Tomori included in England squad to play Czech, Bulgaria

Luck seems not to be on the side of Super eagles of Nigeria as England manager, Gareth Southgate, has called up Tammy Abraham and Fikayo Tomori, for their Euro 2020 qualifying games against Czech Republic and Bulgaria.

The Chelsea duo, who are also eligible to play for Nigeria, have been in impressive form for the Blues this season.

If they accept the invitation and eventually feature in any of the matches, they will not be able to represent the Super Eagles again.

Although Nigeria coach, Gernot Rohr, had admitted recently that Abraham and Tomori were not part of his immediate plans. But millions of Nigerians are keen seeing the big duo play for Nigeria at the expense of the English team.
