Sadiya Umar Farouq who was commissioned as the Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Social Development on August 21, attended a walimah organised by her family and friends to congratulate her on the new appointment.
She had tweeted about the event on September 15, Sadiya shared photos from the event and wrote:
Yesterday, I attended a walimah organised by my family and friends to congratulate me on my appointment as a honourable minister by President Muhammadu Buhari,
Following the rumors of her wedding to President Muhammadu buhari, a video that was recorded on September 14 when her family and friends held a party to celebrate her appointment is now being circulated as the pre-wedding party of Sadiya Umar Farouq.
