No room for ‘imported politicians’ to serve as public officers in Osun – Oyetola pledges

Governor Gboyega Oyetola has pledged that he would not appoint political aides from other states because it was no longer fashionable and it’s majorly rejected by indigenes of the state.

Oyetola made this pledge during the turbaning of Alhaji Liad Tella as the Asiwaju Musulumi of Iwo land at Iwo.

Alhaji Liad Tella is a renowned journalist and one time, former National Commissioner of the National Hajj Commission.

At the occasion, Oyetola affirmed his decision to work hard purposely to improve their lives with worthwhile projects and infrastructure.

The Governor of Osun state further stressed that ” all his political appointees are indigenes of the state which is a move to stop the use of “imported” politicians as political office holder.

WITHIN NIGERIA learnt that the current minister of interior and former Governor of the state, Rauf Aregbesola worked with commissioners and aides who were from Lagos state and other part of the country.
